The idea of Tahoe is very cool, but consists of to much driving for one day. A lot of the members have work early the following morning, so we have to keep that in mind. The BBQ at Folsom sounds like a lot of fun!

So, BBQ at Folsom Park. ?

- Condiments

- Chips (Mary's seeing if her Dad can hook us up again)

Questions have been asked about were we are meeting in the Nor- Cal forum so i pulled this from there and am also posting it here. For the who brings what situation my opinion is in the paragraph below. -Steve

Well as I posted a month in advance, the gathering is STARTING at the meeting spot 10am at the In n Out on Truxel road off of I-80 if ya don't want to miss anything you'll meet us there so you don't have to play catchup or phone tag. besides that the only official time we have made is at the meeting spot, everything else from then on out is go with the flow (if we had a scheduel we would just break it anyways). I am not going to make a list for things for people to bring because if someone doesn't show and we don't have what they signed up to bring everyone gets screwed. I say after we meet up we'll see who we have and who wants to get what and take it from there it's not that hard you can if you want voluntere to bring things but that is for you to decide and knowone should depend on anyone else. For all I care we can go out to eat and go to the lake later. (we did the eat out thing in san Jose and that worked well and we still got to sit back and enjoy ourselves. Anyways ideas are going on a pole on Friday sometime so getem up here!

Here is the list of just 3rdgen.org members going. Guys from 98cobra.com are suppossed to be goining us as well as others, we have alot of people coming!

What will we do to pass the time at Folsom then?

We could do a trip to HOT ROD CAFE!!! it is almost mandatory that you do burnouts when you are there and it fits our car club theme perfectly!!! I can't beleive I just thought of this!! then after that we can drive over Folsom dam to the lake and swim, play football, frizzbys, take pictures, BS and then we can take a cruise through Auburn wich is only about 20minutes from Folsom Lake. The tallest bridge in California is in Auburn and we can cross it then you dive out in the woods for awhile very senic and you can go below the bridge you just drove over. (This is the bridge that they drove the corvette off in Triple X "XXX") to me this sounds like a winner. what does everyone else think?

I made a few calls and it seems that everyone is diggin on my last post. So lets get some feedback!!

If everyone is cool with this it will be closer for everyone the meet at Hot Rod Cafe. It is located off of "50 at the south Sunrise exit, then take a left on Folsom Blvd. go down about a block and there you are, it's on your left side of Folsom blvd! in the long run it's closer for everyone to meet there even for Jeremy. so what do you all think? Are we down to meet at Hot Rod Cafe instead? Besides it's a car themed place and the food is off the hook! :bang: :bang: I'll see if they have any special events going on. sometimes they have bikkini car washes, live bands and burnout contests. I'm telling you this is were it's at!!
