My '88 IROC has the factory 16" wheels and wheel locks on it. You know those lug nuts that need a special key to get them off. Did these come from the factory? When I bought the car, no one told me about them and now I can't get the wheels off. Can some one tell me if these were a factory option, or if I need to look at aftermarket companies to find the key.

I don't think any thirdgen came from the factory with wheel locks. You should be able to get them them off if you get a 4-way tire iron and hit it with a hammer a couple of times to force it on to the lug nut then loosen it.

My '87 has them. I always thought they came factory as the "key" I have for them has the Pontiac emblem on it.

I had them removed by a local shop. The place I got the car from didn't have the key, so they sent me to a shop to get them removed. Thank you for all the great suggestions. I did try to get them off my self but couldn't.
