I fully ported my plenum, had a few questions.

I fully ported my plenum a few days ago and I am wondering what exactly did I get out of it?? The main reason why I did it was because it helps air flow & its a free mod, but what does that extra airflow give you? more hp? little higher reving? what?

And exactly how much flow did I free up by fully porting the plenum? My friends said about 100 cfm's.

The plenum won't do much at all. The main thing that is killing you is your base and the runners. You can't do much with the stock runners, but with the base you can siamese it down pretty good. I picked up quite a bit with just the base. The car pulled to 6500 with no problem at all

the runners are a real choker for those cars, i'd go with the slp high flows, they are cheaper and should do very nicely, they bolt right on.
