MY Buddy who knows everything said that (in Missouri) if you get pulled over for speeding and the cop doesnt have proof of your real speed then you dont have to sign the ticket. as in...
cop:"you were going 40 in this 30 MPH zone"
me:"can i see the radar gun"
cop"i didnt have it on the gun"
so does this mean i dont have to sign the ticket or does that mean anyhting at all?

doesnt mean a damn thing.
a cop can goto court and just say that he saw you and gave a visual estimation and its legal....

I don't use radar myself....I pace people. And that is legal :-)

I got paced at 85-90 this weekend. but because I was honest with him and it was my first time being pulled over he let me go with a warning.

We dont have to show our radar to anyone. And there is no place on the ticket to sign your name, we just stroke you the ticket and send you on your way..
