If you had points on your license in one state, and you move, does it carry over?? And how long before they come off your license?

Thats a question for the Dept of Motor Vehicles. ;) Here, the officers have nothing to do with the point system. But it i cant answer your question. Someone explained it to me once, but its wierd how it works.

When I moved to Texas and got a Texas drivers license, the prior tickets didn't get transfered. I don't know if this is the norm.

i think its dependant upon where you're moving to and from...


athough im pretty sure any points i get while in TX wont show up on my SC drivers license... :raz:
