Mustang and F-body Cruise 5/4 Halfmoon Bay

Another big cruise on May 4th. The last one was a blast. There were close to 100 cars there. Mostly mustangs, but 10 or so Camaros. Lets get a group together to go.
They only ask that there be no Burn outs , or brake stands, etc. Someone did a brake stand in the parking lot last time.

The cruise to Half Moon Bay sounds fun.Will we meet in the East Bay and go from there?
I'll go as long as my car's running.I've been having some car troubles after the Menlo Park Police impounded it, but I expect to have them sorted out by then.

I was actually pulled over for my taillight covers
(which I've had on the car for 10 years and never been stopped for).Rookie insisted they run my license three times, because he was sure I looked like a street racer and there was no way I had a clean record (I do).He said there's no way I've had the covers on that long without being stopped,said I'm lying.Finally, he starts hassling my passenger and asks him if there's anything illegal in the car.Well, my buddy has a controlled substance in his pocket, so he gives it to him.
Takes us both to jail, impounds the car,steals my buddy's Michigan Jacket,loses my gas cap key,etc.
They towed it on the hook, flattened the bottom of my brand new tailpipes,tore my interior completely apart.This guy really had it in for me.Don't get me wrong, I'm willing to take responsibility for my actions(or my passenger's), but this guy was something else.
Spent Friday night in Jail,so far it's cost me $1400,between bail & getting the car back.
Attorney's I've spoken to say I should have gotten a ticket and $200 fine max.
I think it'll work out OK, but what a pain!
P.S. never cited me for the covers,they're still on.

Daaaaamn.... I'd be pissed...

I was pulled over because of the blackouts I have too, got off with a warning though. Hopefully everything will be cool with you by the time we have our next meet. That sucks...

That really sucks. Dickhead cops like that deserve to be tied to a pole in San Francisco naked with plenty of KY jelly at hand. :pissed: Cops can really be dicks.

It's ok. I was planning on changing my heater core and buffing the hell outta my car on saturday. Sunday I gotta change out my moms radiator on her 4 Runner. Sometimes it sucks knowing how to work on cars. People want you to fix everything for em.

Yeah,
I guess I'll be fixing my power steering leak and installing the MSD timing advance control module.Need to scrounge the wrecking yards for my wife's Blazer too.
