Got a couple questions if ya dont mine me asking. What kind of payments do u have on the GT? Also how is the insurance on it? And is it completely under your name? Ive gotten in the same boat that you were in when you bought it. I want to have a nicer daily driver. So i figured i would start looking around.

$245 a month for 60 months. Well right now since I have 3 cars I am the full time driver on teh Lumina and thats is 90 a month. Part time on the GT is 36 bucks and 45 for the firebird. Now I am going to have all the cars in my name this year and they said it was an extra 40 bucks a car a YEAR so bascally its 120 more ayear to have it in my name. I am going under my own name because it was discussed that if i get in an accident and major shit occurs they can go after my dad and mom and get a shitload but if the cars are in my name and I get in an accident they are just going to take what I have which isnt that much basically my three cars. Since I turned 21 my total bill dropped 300 bucks but 25 is the big one. I would guess I would pay about 120 a month with the GT But it is cheaper to have the Lumina. It saves me about 50 a month sicne that is my full time driver. lol Hell when they accidently put me full time on the bird it was 178 a month just fo rthat hell with all my insurance and car payemts thats a whole paycheck. god thing i get 2 a month :) Hey if you ever want to take a regular GT out let me know you can drive it on saturday if you want to see how it runs.

Also what year is it and how many miles did it have when you bought it?

Its a 99 with 23,000 on it. He wanted 14,000 for it back in july and I thought that was a decent price. Upon inspection it was BEAT I mean it was filthy dirty (mac and cheese spilled all over rear carpet never clean and it dried hard on there) never washed, nerver waxed, under the hood had like a nest and tons of leaves. It sat under the tree all winter and was never garaged. The body looked good and it ran good plus it still had a warrenty so I wasnt worried. I said I'll give you 12,300 for it. he called back two hours later and said ok lol Its now nice and clean and smells good inside. BTW engine bay is mint :) I now have 29,500 on it now and its fine. I ddint go with the GTP because to get the same price the car had double the miles and the insurance was way up there. the 97-98 GT's had 190 HP the 99-02 have 200 due to a redesigned airbox.

clubgp.net or clubgt.com The only thing I dont like about mine is that the center console is loose, but i can fix that . Other then that thats it. well i get shitty gas milage too. The Bird gets more.

OH the intake and valve cover gaskets are known big time on the 3800's for leaking. as of right now at 29000 miles I can see a littel residue on mine.
