I have a Name and SS# and Know what state he is in.

BTW, Its not for anything ILLEGAL. its info on a family member.

Everything that is run on our state computer/teletype in our police dept if for law enforcement only, with severe penalties possible for violation.

I have never seen this happen, but I have been told if the state runs a test/check & you give information out such as over the phone & you really don't know who you are talking to, they can come to our PD, yank out the computer & arrest the person that did it.

A couple of years ago, there was even a notice in briefing that our area security guards that work apartment complexes & such are not law enforcement & therefore cannot call us & find out info on tags etc. (If they call us & give the tag, the dispatcher can check real quick to find out if stolen, but cannot give the owner info).

Drivers sometime ask how many points or tickets are on their license, which I cannot run just to tell them. But if I happen to have run their number & the dispatcher gives it out with them standing there & they hear it, as far as I'm concerned that's OK.

Well shit..... What Im looking for id just to see if The Address in N.C is right or not with out calling.

The pearson is my Dad.

His sister told my Mom that he was living in N.C now but going by his middle name. So I looked some stuff up on whowhere.com and got a addy and wanted to see if someone was able to cross check it with his name and SS # on NCIC or something.

Long Story Short My mom and him divorced when I was 2. He never paid child support cuz he split and my mom was never upto tracking him down afterwards. Well Now I have a hunch where he is at and would like to make sure its actually him at that addy with out him knowing its us. and go from there if it is him.

You can go to websites that charge a couple bucks for searches just like that.

But as was stated, it would be a violation of state and federal laws for us to release info like that.
