Sears Point Hosts 'Test and Tune' on April 10;
'Wednesday Night Drags' begin April 17
SONOMA, Calif. — Sears Point Raceway will host a "Test and Tune" on its brand
new drag strip on Wednesday, April 10, from 4-7 p.m. Competitors will only be
given time runs.
Regular participants in the "Wednesday Night Drags" program are invited to
attend and cost is $10. Mufflers will be required at the "Test and Tune" and
no cars running quicker than 10 seconds will be permitted.
"Wednesday Night Drags" will officially kick off the 2002 season on April 17.
Cost will be $20 participants, $17 high school students with ID cards, $10
spectators.
Participants will compete on Sears Point Raceway's refurbished quarter-mile
drag strip, complete with a 660-foot concrete launch pad.
