Here it is...
On the above date and time, the undersigned officer, while on patrol, was dispatched to the above address on a report of loud music disturbing other renters in the hotel. Upon arrival, i spoke with the above complainant who stated that there had been loud music playing in room 117, 1st floor, for the past 1/2 hour. Upon approaching the room, i could hear loud music which could be heard 400 feet away in the lobby. The undersigned then knocked several times which yielded negative results. The room was phoned several times which also yielded negative results. I then procured a key from the above copmplainant to said room believing that someone inside may have been injured and in need of aid. Door was unlocked, and myself and Officer Sig*** made entry into room 117. I immediately observed above arrested party Diaz on the floor, only wearing a pair of underwear, lying on his back, head facing north. I also observed the fact that Diaz' chest was expanding and contracting offering no breathing difficulties. As soon as i turned the television off, Diaz suddenly sat up and told me to "get the Fu## out of his room." I could smell the distinct odor of alcoholic beverage eminating from his persons and breath. I asked Diaz what had occurred tonight, and once again he stated, "nothing, get the fuck out before i call the cops." :D In plain view i observed a white powder substance spread upon a mirror on a bedtop table . Based on my training and experience, i believed the white powder substance to be that of cocaine. Diaz then stood up and swung a close fisted punch at the undersigned while lunging, missing by mere inches. That myself and officer Sig*** then grabbed Diaz and attempted to handcuff. Diaz became severely combative and began reaching towards the undersigneds gun while being wrestled to the ground. I then removed my clip and threw it across the room for safety measure if Diaz had gotten control of my handgun. That Diaz' strength was incredible and i believed it to be the fact that he could possibly be on a narcotic substance. Diaz was sprayed with department issued OC spray according to use of force continuum and guidelines. Diaz then began yelling and throwing punches as one handcuff dangled off of his right hand causing it to become a weapon. The OC did have an effect on Diaz, but it also enraged him into a "blind fury." Diaz then again lunged at said officers and had to be subdued by using departent issued batons according to use of force continuum and guidelines. Diaz finally gave up his fight, was cuffed and transported to booking via unit 296 for decontamination and processing. White powder substance tagged as evidence. During the ride to the station, Diaz began hyperventialting from the OC spray and began flopping around the back seat causing the handcuffs to cut into his wrists causing extensive damage to tissue and bone. AR-99 form completed and notarized by LT. ME******** @ 0230hours. After decontamination, Diaz was booked for the above listed charges. The white powder substance yielded a positive reaction to cocaine by using a small test portion mixed with Regent A. Nothing further.....

Kamaro just shut up. You think you know EVERYTHING when it comes to being a cop but guess what....you're still a rookie...an amatuer. Alot of these guys have been on the force a hell of a lot longer than you therefor they know more than you and have more experience than you do. When you say "But id never ever disable my weapon" you make him seem like he did something wrong and not right but you weren't in that current situation so do not say what is right and what is wrong :pissed:

Im not second guessing him, he did everything perfect becaus noone got hurt and the bad guy went to jail. And in some situations it may be best to disarm yourself. Im just saying that "I" wouldnt have from the way i understood his narritave. Ive never been in that situation and all situations are different so i cant say what i would have done. So from the outcome of the event, its safe to say the situation couldnt have been handled better.

Dont be a bitch, and i thought it was wierd he disabled his gun too, but i wasnt there and im not a cop, so it was probably the best thing to do.

Lemme settle this..
Disabling your weapon and tossing the clip is one of the smartest things to do when you know someone is grabbing for it and may very well overpower you. Besides, if you need your firearm if you get control of it back, you should have at least two more clips handy on your belt.

Dont be an asshole. First off like you said you're not a cop so you thought it was weird...the difference is that Kamaro is a cop but he's such a "know it all" that he thinks he's super cop or some shit like that

I was sworn in january 18, 2002. :finger:

Ive been with the state since 2000 with corrections so my police retirement and time w/ the state started then.
If you count the 6 years that i was an explorer for the Highway patrol. That counts for a little something. I guess, if you want it to. ;) I may have the least years of this board, but my dad has 32 years and still going which i think is worth mentioning.
