WHAT AN ADRENALINE RUSH!!!!

I had more fun at this school (and learned more) in three days than I ever thought possible. The school is located in Pahrump, NV - in the middle of nowhere. The mountains were majestic, but there was not much else to the landscape.

The school uses two hangers for classroom instruction and maintenance, but most of your time is spent out on the course!

Scott Settlemire "The F-Bodfather" met us out at the school. Several of the prospective students from PA did not show, so he was giving seats away to fill the class!

The first day we were trained in proper braking techniques and manueverability. We were also given a demonstration in the proper way to perform a Power Circle in a 2002 SS by Rupert Bragg-Smith, himself.

And of course, there was the driving aspect of the weekend... much time spent on the track. Your final day on the track was reserved for your most WOT experience... whatever you felt comfortable with... in whatever car you preferred. You are able to choose from a Corvette coupe or Z06 or the Camaro SS - all of them from the current 2002 production year. I reached darn near 100MPH in an SS on the back straight on that day.

And to top it all off, Scott treated us to dinner for two nights...

There were so many pictures to take, I had to split them up into several albums... check them all out here...

My Webshots Albums (http://community.webshots.com/user/84berlinetta)

The pictures are broken up among several albums due to the sheer number of them...

Bragg-Smith Day #1 (http://community.webshots.com/album/33015550TSxXLj)

Bragg-Smith Day #2a (http://community.webshots.com/album/33018035YRRWXL)

Bragg-Smith Day #2b (http://community.webshots.com/album/33020341lnRgZm)

Bragg-Smith Day #3 and the return home (http://community.webshots.com/album/33022992RadeRn)

And finally, this fantastic car collection (http://community.webshots.com/album/33021634JGQcaI) owned by one of the Chevy dealership owners from Las Vegas. That was a second-night treat from Scott Settlemire.

I'm looking forward to the availability of some video that was shot as well!

Some nice shots there Mark...beautiful country too. I can't wait to hear some of the stories. So, did you come home and try any of the lessons you learned with the 84, like power circles?

I forgot the Lewis' were going out there too. It looked like everyone was having a good time. I'm glad you got to go...

Nice pictures Mark. I bet that was one hell of a rush. Nice to see you had a good time, I'll be waiting to see how many sets of tires you go through this season. hehe

MIKE!!!

Nice to hear from ya' again... what have you been up to (aside from all that procreation, that is... hehehe).

Man, you would have LOVED that school... if you ever get a chance... JUMP AT IT! I guarantee it will be worth your while, even if it is a bit of a financial hardship.

I'm looking forward to doing some tuning on the old 305 this spring... we'll see how well I can get her running on the low end... it would be nice to get some pics with a little smoke from the tires!
