Getting Edelbrock Headers

Today I ordered some Edelbrock headers :bang: for my car. Unfortionately they are on back order. But I should still get em by the end of next week. The part that sucks even more is that I wanted to get them installed before our next meeting. But I don't think that is going to happen. I am really going to try though. I got the nickel plated ones Part# 68721. I can't wait to see the performance difference.
I got so many things lined up for my car, I mean working in the car candy store you kinda start dreaming about everything you wanna get for your car during down time. I got the time to look up stuff. So if anyone wants me to look up something for your ride just call me at work (510) 786-3550. Ask for Matt. Sometimes were busy so it may take me a few minutes to get to you. Just remember to remind me that your in the iroc club and who you are and I will quote you the lowest price I can.
Oh ya one more thing. Dave I can't believe your having everyone meet up at Vic's. I mean it's cool and all but dammit!!! I gotta work!!! All you guys are gonna leave me there:cry: . That's so mean. I mean you can't stick around for a couple more hours :D . I do get off at 3 on sunday. But if you guys can't, I understand. I'm just gonna sit at work and spank the money till 3 if you don't stick around :whack:. Anyways, enough complaining. I will talk to you guys later.

That kicks ass dude, are you getting Edelbrock TES? If so, how much are you getting them for? Are you gonna install em yourself?

I've been lookin' into getting headers myself for the past month...

Originally I was gonna spring for SLP stainless steel, but I was quoted by a shop for $1200 (including install), and that was WAY too much... I'm either gonna go with Hooker Super Comps or Edelbrock... so maybe you can hook me up with a deal?

About the gathering @ Vic Hubbards... I'm not sure how long the racing at Oakland will last, but if it goes into the evening, I don't see why we couldn't all meet-up at 1pm-2pm, hang out at Vics for an hour or two (get some pictures etc..), then all head out to Oakland at 3pm once you get off work.

How about it guys? Will that work?

Sorry about that Matt. I was hoping you didnt have to work. Maybe we can go to Oakland for a while then come back and get you at three and go back. I dont know how long they will be running, we'll just have to play it by ear,

Thats cool about the headers. Are you going to install them yourself or have a shop do it? maybe we can have a work party and help out if your going to to do it yourself.

Ya they are the Edelbrock TES headers. Nickel plated. I do plan on installing them myself. Me and a friend are going to do it at chabot college in the auto shop... his dad is the auto shop teacher there... When I install the headers i'm going to put a hedman 3" high flow cat on it too. I get the headers for 324 and some change plus tax and shipping. Normally i think we sell em for about 450 plus tax and shipping. Any more questions let me know. I haven't had a chance to talk to the owner about the club pricing yet. I will get to it soon I hope. If not I can still hook you guys up.
