March Meetings

We're going to change things a bit in March so here goes.

Next Sunday 3/17 there are races in the Oakland Coliseum Parking lot. We can watch for free, have to be member to run but I went this Sunday and it was pretty interesting. So lets meet at Vic Hubbards Performance Parts in Hayward. Its just off of 880 at A st. At about 12:30 then drive in as a group around 12:45.

The following Weekend is March 23-24th Good Guys event in Pleasanton. I m trying to coordinate a drive - in with the Camaros Limited Nor- Cal group. but none the less will some sort of meet up to drive in on Saturday the 23rd. So I will firm up those details later.

So hope to see every one at Vic Hubbards this Sunday. at 12:30 or meet us at the Oakland Colesum if you want to go at another tiime

The Sacramento Gathering didn't happen, the organizer didn't think enough people showed interest in it, and it was canceled...

I ran acrossed a group of Bay Area F-body's on the net. they are mostly 4th gens, I invited them to our Sunday meeting so we may have a few 4th gens there too.

For the Good Guys meet on Saturday 3/23 I still have not heard form any one at Norcal Limited, so I'm open for a meeting time and place. I would like to go sometime on Saturday morning. As for Sunday, I ll probably go then too but sometime in the afternoon, so Im not planning a meet up that day.

I just looked at the weather forecast for this weekend.... it's suppose to rain on Sunday (3/17), son of @#$%*!!!!

AND get this, it's the ONLY day in the next week and 1/2 that has predicted rain, every other day looks fine... how #$%^$& lame is that?!!?

Why does it always HAVE to rain on our meet-up days damnit!! :mad:

The forecast does not look good for this Sunday , have to see what happens. I still plan on going rain or shine. They will race rain or shine so that should be interesting even if it does rain.


Norcal Limited will be setting up there cars next Friday Night at the Goodguys show so we will just be cruising in separately. Where do you guys want to meet Saturday 3/23 around 9:00 am?

dude 9 am? Your talkin' to a kid here that parties that late. I mean I stay out till around six saturday morning, if it's a good night. I think maybe we should coordinate ourselves with cell phones. I mean, I hope most of us got em. I think 9 am is asking a lil much from me. Don't mean to be a pain in the butt, but hell, i don't wanna wake up that early. :raz:

I feel bad for Matt since he doesn't get off work till 3pm, guess we'll see what's up when we all get out there...

Hopefully everyone shows up, cuz I haven't seen many responses... I did invite a guy I met at Best Buy who owns a '92 RS that's modded to our meet, hopefully he'll make it.

Well steve and I are going out to the races after I get off work. He's gonna show up here around 2:45. You guys missed out, I gave Dave a tour of the place. If any of you plan on showing up. Leave a post to let me know. Cause we're gonna bounce outta here right after I get off work (a little after 3:00). Cause I wanna check this place out. I think it's gonna be bad watching some hypo cars going at it on the track. :thumbup: :elaugh:

Sorry I didn't make it, but between the rain, a vacuum leak on my car and my hangover from Saturday Night,it just wasn't possible.
