My buddy got a fix it ticket like 2 years ago.. he went into the police station to have it signed off, but when he went in their network was down or whatever and they told him to come back.. so he went back a month later... but they were still having problems.. after that he forgot about the ticket.. sold the car.. bought a new car.. etc.. He has a question. He just remembered that he never got this taken care of, so what should he do?

He should go and pay it. Sooner or later its bound to come up. After awhile his license can be suspended with out him knowing which could result in him getting locked up or even a possible bench warrant could be filed. Not worth going through the hassle of that just for a tail light or something. Best thing he could do was lie said he got whatever fixed, make a fake reciept, go to the police station and say no one did anything about it.

We don't have "fix it" tickets here. We do have inspection required warnings though. If don't get your inspection done your registrations is suspended. If a "fix it" ticket has a fine he should pay it. It may come back to haunt him someday.

We dont have 'fix it' tickets here. Id imagin it would work like an unpaid parking ticket or something and catgch back up to him. Or mabey not.
