That is right I am giving you all a chance to race the police. On Sunday March 17th 2002 at River city Raceway (RCR) from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. We our having our first annual Beat The Heat race, display and challenge sponsored by River City Raceway. We have over 30 police officers and cars coming in from 5 states just to take any
challenges. This is a 3 day event for Beat The Heat group. We will be on display on Friday during an O'Reilly event. On Saturday we are bracket racing with other racers at RCR for the first BTH Texas challenge. Then on Sunday all officers
will be out to race any and all who want to race the POLICE. We have any thing from a 9 sec police car to a 18 sec police car. There will be door prizes and fun for all. There will be an award for the club or high school with the most vehicles registered under their name.
As of now we have members of the following clubs coming out.
Viper Clubs from Austin & Houston, the San Antonio Impala Lovers club, Bigest club yet is the Houston F-Body with Austin Stangs cose behind. Also have people coming from Lighting clubs, Waco and Dallas area. Any 3rd Gen takers???
BTW I have a 87 IROC that is a show/race police car. It is more show than go right now. Best time ever is 13.6 on 100 shot of NOS, street tires and stock motor (TPI 350, stock auto trans and rear end. But working on a 383 strocker on 50 shot of NOS, rebuilt re end w/3:55 gears and a fully manual rebuild 700R4 trans.
